- What about security ?

Summer
When arriving, your guide will explain security rules, which need to be applied to Svalbard for when you are on the move and in the campsites.
For each group, we have a V.H.F. radio, a SARSAT beacon and a high-calibre weapon. You’ll be wearing a waterproof overall over a fleece to protect you against the cold water.

Spring
The same security rules apply. We’ll be wearing extra clothes in case of extreme weather conditions. A husky will accompany us at all times to keep guard.
